1. she uses the word "yo" seriously in her sentences (like me! that's just how we roll).

2. she doesn't wear granny undies anymore!

3. she "gets" it

4. when she laughs really hard she cries

5. home base - place of sleep, relaxation, thinking, movie-watching, book-reading, journaling and all other important life activities - is bed

6. she's fun to have on road trips

7. she brings me my dinner at work when i'm working the night shift, with only slight eye rolling/annoyance

8. we have our own little language. she knows about "here comes fucking karen," "oh honey...," who moana is, "i'll call you in 5 minutes" and that grandma cheated at monopoly.

9. she wants the chicken scampi with no onions, extra peppers, wheat pasta, and alfredo not garlic sauce - and you're stupid if you're not writing it down. you're gonna fuck it up. you are.

10. she's good with directions

11.she excuses a lot of stupid behavior, esp. on the part of animals and old people, with "they got nothin' better to do."

12. coffee politics schmoffee politics - she wants her starbucks, dammit!

13. she doesn't try too hard to be cool or artsy...she just is what she is, and rocks it

14. she puts up with annoying senile people at work who do things like asking her "do you have something i can suck on?" 15 times a day...she's sweet to them anyway.

15. she takes the time and cares enough to write people encouraging online notes, emails, comments, etc.

16.she enjoys simple moments like swinging in a hammock on a crisp autumn day, beneath two towering trees aflame with reds and browns and oranges, with giggling little girls with expressive names locked between us in innocent, giggly, joyful squished-ness.

17. when it "rains", she looks for the rainbow

18. she's not stuck in any of her ruts ~ she's always growing and changing and listening for the direction of enabling grace

19. she doesn't get too mad at me even though she watches me mess up over and over and keep going back for more even when i know i shouldn't

20. she doesn't attack people where they are weak

21. she inspires me to trust god b/c she does...she could "MSH" with like 3 guys, but she doesn't b/c she's letting wisdom dictate her behavior rather than selfishness or neediness...she inspires me to meditate on "putting god on the throne instead of my needs."

22. she "cannot wait another year"..but she will, if need be

23. she'll fight for what she believes in and loves - she'll fight for you.

24. she is meek, gentle, discreet, classy, and thinks before she speaks (not "shy"!), but has a deep undercurrent of warmth and passion - her deepest of hearts is fiery ~ ablaze.

{one to grow on} i finally, i love her b/c she is like my sister, and has grown woven into my heart. i could never let her become someone i used to know. she's not allowed to take her cat or leave my sweater. she's forever.

23 Reasons Why I Love Rachael Elizabeth Copp

she spells her name the cool way
she drives a p.t. cruiser and adorns it with pretty crystals and flowers and an upside down seahorse
she has most of her future children named already
she's a mainer but for some reason can pronounce my name without adding an 'r' at the end, and can say bar harbor *with* the 'r's
she sings along in the car without getting embarassed
sleeping/dreaming is one of her favorite hobbies
she updates her xanga on a regular basis
when she laughs really, really hard she cries a little bit
put her in a bookstore/coffeeshop (preferably with money ) and she's happy for hours
she loves her toes ~ how many people can say that?
she can go a long long long time without showering before her hair looks greasy
she has never received a speeding ticket and that inspires me
she's really good at keeping in touch
she knows we're not having duck, not even to take the edge off
she will do crazy funny things like putting granny undies in people's locker or putting furniture in an elevator
she encourages people to get tipsy so that she can laugh at them when they start acting crazy
when she was little she wondered why only cars going the other way got to have the white lights
she has a history of being *very* grateful and excited to receive such gifts as crayons (164!) and lotion, lotion, look more lotion!
she'll exit the highway and drive 20 miles in god knows what direction in the middle of nowhere to find a bathroom if you have to pee really badly
she finds the coolest, best churches ever
she is so genuinely sincere about her belief in and love for god, you can't help but have your own faith encouraged
she is one of the kindest people i have ever met; she hardly ever loses her temper, will always listen if you need to share your heart, and always tries to be encouraging and uplifting
she uses grace to guide her journey in life, relying on god's and giving her own to others.
(one to grow on!) she's beautiful but kind of doesn't know it, like the country song "she don't know she's beautiful"
