i think we need to give ourselves more challenges and credit by deciding to be more reasonable about things than just following our feelings. our feelings lead us astray if that's the only "wisdom" we listen to.

i've been feeling this lately and i think it's common. we feel: "i want you to want me"..even if we don't really want the particular boy in mind. cause, come on, you don't *really* want any of these boys, reasonably. you just feel a pull inside you. and i don't reasonably want any of the boys i've met but i do want them to want me. it's sick.

OK, so I've been meaning to ask you this. What IS that iron thingy?  I couldn't figure it out!  Haha... "Couldn't hurt"... I forgot about that. I'm so glad you remind me of these things... yeah that iron thingy didn't look fun...especially since I couldn't decide to be completely disgusted or turned on...

And yes... I find I do surround myself with friends with a similar "fixation" lol. And it's funny how you start off having a normal conversation and at some point it just kind of goes there. Whether through a joke or a quandry... it just kind of goes there.
